Last Thursday my friends & I headed to Vegas for a mini trip to see this wonderful group. It was one of the most amazing show’s i’ve been to since Temper Trap. The energy & crowd participation was unbelievable.

I’ve recently acquired a very nice bicycle from a friend of my bf’s grandmother. It has nice & fat tires, a comfy cushioned seat and front/back breaks that works just fine.  I can’t move very fast but its a great bicycle to start. One of the worst things about being a 28 year-old and never knowing how to ride a bike can be temporarily damaging on the ego. It’s even worse when cute little 7 year-old boys with chubby cheeks zoom past you in the park and gives you a piece of advice about  learning how to ride! “If you practice more, it will be easier and you won’t fall as much” – the most adorable kid ever at Golden Gate Park.

My Ride for the next few weeks until I can ride in a straight line or prevent myself from landing in the bushes:

I always looked at 30 as this grand imminent number I can’t run from.  ONE.Five months left!  However, before I leave my 20’s I want a story to tell of my grand adventures. Therefore, here are my three fun goals for the year:

1) Visit one of the great world wonders.

2) Become a Tri-athlete.

3) Be inspired.

I recently read a fantastic book, one which I recommended. One that also inspired goal No. 1.  A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller  inspired me to tell a better story. To do things that makes your life worth sharing. In the next few months, i’ll journal my path to living a better story through my journey to South America & trying to turn a runner into a tri-athlete.

Realizing the goals above may not be easy to attain, I’ve laid out my stepping stones:

1) Learn how to swim

2) Learn how to bike

3) Stair master my way in preparation for my South American Hike in Peru.

&  so it begins.

{Here is an amazing band i’ll be checking out tomorrow night!}

Crystal, my amazing bestfriend is getting hitched! She met an incredible guy and within the next few months, they’ll step into this world as husband & wife. To celebrate her pre-momentous occasion, 7 bridesmaids & I threw her the best bridal shower a girl could have. Below is message tied to every single balloon. Pictures to follow.

If you have stumbled upon this site because you have found a balloon, you must be one of the few lucky ones!   Friends, family, lucky balloon catchers & readers please post a comment & pass down your advice on love or hope.
